Lemon Drop Martini
Makes 1
1 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice, strained (rind reserved for rim)
Sugar in the raw
1 1/2 oz vodka
1 1/2 oz elderflower liqueur, such as St. Germain
Lemon twist for garnish (peel this before you juice your lemon)
After juicing your lemon(s), use the reserved juicy rind to trace around the rim of the glass and dip into sugar. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add lemon juice, vodka and elderflower liqueur. Shake vigorously, about 20 seconds. Strain into prepared glass and garnish with lemon twist.
